• Alumni Crew Participate in First Coast Head Race

  The First Coast Head Race is an annual crew regatta held on the St. Johns and Arlington Rivers in Jacksonville; the course is 4.8K. The event is sponsored by the Stanton Rowing Foundation. Congratulations to Episcopal alumni who participated in this year’s race! The women finished fourth in the women's masters 8 category and the men finished second in the men's masters 8 category. There were more than 200 boats and 750 participants in the event. Women’s participants: Kate Motes Schmidt '02; Lauren Johnston '06; Taylor Adams Reynolds '02; Cabell Pratt Wilbraham '91; Cristi Peterson Skeels '91; Sarah Balke Santiago '95; Barbara Sanchez-Salazar '78; Logan Walker Balskus '03; Casey Burkhalter '11; and Christine Haycook '02. Men’s participants: Nathan Kress, Episcopal Boys Crew Coach; Allen Todd '91, Parker Joseph '11; JM Seibler '07; Hans Schneider '09; Garrett Peterson '11; Palmer Booth '11; and David Hike ’09.

• Arnie Tritt '81 Named Chair of Construction Law Committee by Florida Bar

  The Florida Bar recently appointed Arnold D. Tritt, Jr.,’81, managing partner of Tritt|Henderson, to serve a two year term as the Chair of its Construction Law Committee (“CLC”). Arnie previously served as the CLC’s Vice-Chair. The CLC is currently comprised of over 440 Construction Law Attorneys throughout the state and country and is the only organization sponsored by the Florida Bar that serves to support and educate those attorneys dedicated to serving the construction industry. “I am honored to have been appointed the Chair of the CLC,” said Arnie. “The CLC benefits not only my fellow construction attorneys but our clients through the vast knowledge that is shared among the CLC members.” Arnie has served Episcopal in different areas over several years: Alumni Board Member - 2008-Present Homecoming Committee - 2009-2010 Reunion Committee - 2010-2011 Nominating & Special Awards Committee - 2008-2009
