Homecoming 2012 was October 29 - November 2. As has become the tradition at Episcopal, Homecoming included various events for all ages. Alumni returned to campus for a basketball game, and student activities included spirit dress days, door decorating contents, a fall choral concert, and a homecoming dance.
Finally, the highlight of Homecoming week for alumni is always the reception at the Alumni House on Friday night before the home football game. This year Episcopal hosted roughly 400 alumni and their families for Homecoming on Friday. This included an Alumni Reception on the Advancement Office patio, followed by the Alumni Family BBQ Dinner in the end zone of the football field, and a Kid Zone, with face painting, bounce houses, and a visit from the Eagle mascot! This year Episcopal also held a special dedication of the Alumni Gym during the Alumni Reception. The evening ended with alumni children helping the cheerleading team cheer on the Eagles as they took the field.
Another addition to the Homecoming festivities is the Parents of Alumni Tours. Episcopal has extended a special invitation to our parents of alumni, inviting them to return to Episcopal for Homecoming. Parents of alumni join us for a campus tour, which includes the newest additions of Parks and Lastinger Halls. After the tour the parents of alumni took part in the Alumni Reception.
