Episcopal’s mission statement reads, “Through a balanced program of academics, arts, and athletics, Episcopal’s faculty seeks to instill in each student intellectual growth, character development, responsible leadership, and a commitment to community service.”
With this mission, the students at Episcopal are encouraged to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities in addition to their academic endeavors. Episcopal recognizes that a superior education is one that is well-rounded—giving the students an abundance of varied experiences that will help ensure success as they transition into college-life and beyond.

In fulfilling this mission the School has flourished, expanding its academic offerings, fine-arts programs, athletic opportunities, and service-outreach programs. Providing a nurturing, Christian atmosphere has moved far beyond weekly chapel programs, basic community service, and theology courses. In short, there are outstanding opportunities for knowledge and growth everywhere for students.
