Campus Life

Episcopal’s mission statement reads, “Through a balanced program of academics, arts, and athletics, Episcopal’s faculty seeks to instill in each student intellectual growth, character development, responsible leadership, and a commitment to community service.”

With this mission, the students at Episcopal are encouraged to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities in addition to their academic endeavors. Episcopal recognizes that a superior education is one that is well-rounded—giving the students an abundance of varied experiences that will help ensure success as they transition into college-life and beyond.

In fulfilling this mission the School has flourished, expanding its academic offerings, fine-arts programs, athletic opportunities, and service-outreach programs. Providing a nurturing, Christian atmosphere has moved far beyond weekly chapel programs, basic community service, and theology courses. In short, there are outstanding opportunities for knowledge and growth everywhere for students. Because of this, the faculty and staff are similarly tasked with helping students find the right balance for activities—one which encourages students to reach their fullest potential in school and one which still provides time for interests outside of Episcopal.

So, whether the students have a passion for the fine arts or athletics, service work or spiritual development, their interests can easily be met—all while earning a superior, college-preparatory education.
