Summer Service Opportunities 2017
Below are some opportunities for students to do community service this summer. Students may sign up for these experiences to help others while also earning community service hours.
*Daniel Summer Camp
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday – June 5,7,9,12,14 and 16 – 9am-2pm
Camp Counselor or Station Manager Arts & Crafts, swimming, sports and indoor activities. One day is spent at the Jacksonville Zoo.

*Angelwood Summer Day Camp
Weekly sessions offered in June and July
Camp Counselor helping with Arts and Crafts, Music, Recreation and special activities

*Episcopal School of Jacksonville Camps
Weekly sessions throughout the summer. Students can contact the adult leading the camp to request a volunteer opportunity.

*Summer Camp at Hope Haven
Opportunities throughout the summer
Assisting challenged children in summer camp activities.

*Middle School Jax Service Camp
Grades 5-8
June 5-9 – 9:00am-12noon
Students will meet at ESJ to go to various sites in Jacksonville to serve others. Each day will provide another opportunity so students will begin to identify their interests and passion in serving.

*Catholic Charities – Camp I Am Special (Apply ASAP)
Various weekly sessions in June and July
Students will be trained and partnered with a special needs person that they assist 24-7 for one week.

*Episcopal Horse Camp – Hearts, Hands and Hooves Too
June 19- 23 – 8:15am- 11:45am
Students will meet at 7125 Garden Street, Jacksonville, FL 32219, the location of Hearts, Hands and Hooves Too. Volunteer students will serve as camp counselors helping with the horses, the crafts/games and the campers.
