Rushton Haskell Callaghan '82 Named Alumnus of the Year
The Alumnus of the Year Award is given to an alumnus who has consistently provided exemplary service to Episcopal by enhancing the mission, success, stature, and well-being of the school.
The Alumnus of the Year award for 2017 has been awarded to Class of 1982 member Rushton Haskell Callaghan.
“Whether as an alumna, as a parent or as a friend of the school, Rushton has given her time year after year to this excellent institution which we all love,” said Anne-Marie Hulsey ’95, Alumni Board President. “It is her spirit and energy and love for Episcopal for which she is best known!”
In addition to being present at every major event on campus, including Galas and Bashes, Homecomings and Reunion Weekends, Leadership Donor Receptions and alumni networking events, Rushton also has supported numerous fundraising events over the years. She and her family are members of the 1966 Society, the 50 by Fifty Society and are longtime leadership donors. Rushton has served on the Alumni Board for nearly ten years, was an Episcopal employee at one time, and is an ongoing advocate for the school.
Anne-Marie Hulsey presented the award on Saturday, April 29 during Reunion Weekend.
