Coach Wise Returns to ESJ Swim Staff

The Episcopal Athletic Office welcomes Paul Wise back “home” as an assistant coach for the ESJ swim program. In addition to helping the ESJ swim team, he will  serve as an assistant coach for the Episcopal Amberjax.  Before his appointment, Coach Wise served as a coach for the Palencia Piranhas and St. Augustine swim teams.

Coach Wise swam collegiality at Florida State University where he set multiple school records. Thereafter, he spent four years coaching with Randy Reese’s Episcopal team in the early 1990s and later coached at Bolles, and Nease.

ESJ Director of Athletics Andy Kidd remarks, “Coach Wise possesses a strong swim pedigree that will enhance our swimmers’ experience. He knows the dedication and commitment it takes to swim at the highest levels. I look forward to seeing Coach Zubero and Coach Wise work together to take our swim program to new heights.”

Coach Wise adds, “I’m excited to be back at Episcopal where my coaching career started. ESJ has a rich tradition of producing great student athletes.  I look forward to working hard to maintain those standards.”
