Volunteers Needed for Senior Athletic Banquet – Students and Parents

A Message from Episcopal’s Boosters

This year’s Senior Athletic Banquet is Sunday, May 5, at 6:00 p.m. in the Buck Student Center. This ceremony celebrates the hard work of all of our senior athletes, who are recognized in front of their families, friends, and coaches. It is a great night that these senior athletes have looked forward to for many years.

Each year the event has a record turnout, and the Boosters need student and parent volunteers to help make it a success.

At least 25 non-senior students are needed to help set up, serve, and clean up. And at least 20 parents are needed to help carry trays and help the students (dads and moms – dads, those trays are heavy!). For uniformity, since we will be the servers, students need a chapel shirt and khaki, black, or grey skirts or pants, and closed toe shoes. Parents should wear white tops and khaki or black bottoms.

Community service information will be provided at the event.

Volunteers – please be at the Buck Center by 5:00 p.m. We should be done by 8:00 p.m., possibly earlier. Pizza and dessert will be provided. I will also provide your assignments and any directions you will need for the banquet.

This will be a fun, painless night! You will be blown away by the athletic accomplishments of these senior students, as well as the sportsmanship and values that are recognized and celebrated.

If you have a senior attending the banquet and would like their sibling to be there as well, this is an excellent opportunity for them to be there and get service hours.

Please let me know by Tuesday, May 1, if you or your student can help, and call me if you have any questions.

Thank you!
