Meet Eric Haney – Food Service Director for SAGE
Food Service Director
With more than 10 years of experience in the food service industry, Eric leads the SAGE team in bringing outstanding service, strong interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude to the Episcopal dining hall every day. He oversees all aspects of the Episcopal dining service, including developing and updating menus, training and guiding the SAGE team, and enforcing all safety standards and protocols.
Before joining the Episcopal community, Eric spent four years as the executive chef and food service director of a natural foods market, where he developed and implemented on-trend menu items, introduced online ordering and a delivery service, and provided ongoing training and best practices. His varied background also spans college dining, corporate contracts, and fine dining restaurants.
Eric graduated from Johnson & Wales University with degrees in culinary arts and food service management, and he’s ServSafe® certified. He enjoys running, surfing, and spending time with his wife and son.
