Bruce Jackson ’21 Earns Eagle Scout Rank
Bruce Jackson ’21 earned his Eagle Scout rank after recently completing his Eagle Scout project at Angels for Allison. Bruce has been a Boy Scout with Troop 2 since he was 11 years old. His project was to landscape and build picnic tables for Angels for Allison. Bruce, helped by his brother Brian ’23 (also a Boy Scout), fellow scouts, and fellow Eagles, worked on cleaning the site, pulling weeds, shaping up the hedge, mulching and mowing the lawn, and transforming the site. Then they built picnic tables to be used by the organization for angel painting activities. Painted angels raise funds for the organization, which supports families who have lost a child. Bruce planned the project, following the direction of Executive Director Liz Nottingham; raised money for it; and inspire others to come help him. Bruce is a 2014 graduate of St. Mark’s.
