Building STEAM Skills Thanks to New LEGO Wall

Thanks to a gift from the St. Mark’s Campus’ 2020-2021 Parents’ Association, a LEGO Design Studio wall was recently installed in the Innovation Lab. When students return to campus in just a few short days, the LEGO wall will facilitate hands-on, multi-sensory STEAM, robotics and collaborative practice for Pre-K through fifth grade students. Students will create projects through a combination of directed skill mastery lessons and student choice projects.

“We are extremely grateful to the Parents’ Association for continuously striving to support our wonderful campus,” said Susan Kwartler, Director of Development, St. Mark’s Campus. “Providing students with the opportunity to develop math, early engineering, social, and spatial awareness skills through play will serve them well into adulthood!”
