Episcopal Schools Celebration Service

The Episcopal Schools Celebration Service is an annual event that celebrates the ministry of the nearly 1,200 Episcopal schools and early childhood programs throughout the Episcopal Church. This Celebration is a time to gather and give thanks to God for our school community and the Church. The verse for this year is “Then your light shall break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up speedily.” (Isaiah 58:8)

Students in fourth and fifth grade from Episcopal School of Jacksonville, St. Mark’s Campus will gather for worship with other local Episcopal schools at a joint service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 6. The service will be held at St. John’s Cathedral, located at 256 E. Church Street in downtown Jacksonville. Students are invited to wear their Episcopal maroon polos for this service. We have made arrangements for transportation for our students. We will depart for the Cathedral at promptly 9:15 a.m.

Each student is asked to bring one item that will be donated to the Food Pantry at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. We look forward to this opportunity for communal worship and service.
