Israel Study Tour

Episcopal, in partnership with Shoresh Study Tours, will lead an inter-generational tour to Israel May 27 through June 7, 2022. Participants will trace the life of Jesus from his home in Galilee to Jerusalem, giving particular attention to the First Century Jewish context in which Jesus lived. The trip is led by The Rev. Adam Greene, Head of School, The Rev. Teresa Seagle, Director of Spiritual Life, and Katie Black Bowling ’95, Director of Fine Arts. The goal of the journey is a better understanding of Jesus’ ministry and a better application of His teachings for us today.

The trip is open to the entire Episcopal community, including family and alumni and Lower and Middle School students with a family member. Students in grades nine through 12 will be provided a chaperone if traveling alone. The trip includes visits to the City of David, the Western Wall, the Jordan River, and the Sea of Galilee.

Please register online if interested to secure your spot on the trip and the group block for the airline. Payment is not due until January, 2022. Attendees must follow all COVID-19 protocols as required by Israel and the United States, including vaccination and testing requirements. The travel advisory for Israel is currently a Level 4. It would need to be a Level 2 for the trip to proceed.
