The Rev. Adam S. Greene, Head of School

Welcome to Episcopal!

Welcome to Episcopal! This greeting is reflective of the caring and lifelong community you will join when you choose our school. It is the closeness of this community that makes Episcopal unique and produces graduates who seek understanding, develop a sense of self, live with honor and purpose, and pursue a life of faith. Episcopal admits exceptional students with integrity and caring hearts who will positively contribute as individuals to the betterment of who we are as a family, resulting in a community from which your child will benefit all of his or her life, even after graduation.

Our Four Pillars--where we seek excellence through a balanced program of Academics, Spiritual Life, Fine Arts, and Athletics--ensure all talents of our students are developed as they discover their passions. We believe that each of these four areas is fundamental to student growth as we educate for who our graduates will become. Our students are intellectual, physical, creative, and spiritual beings who strive for happiness and a higher purpose; our school reflects and encourages these essential, complementary pursuits. Weekly Chapel services, honor education, and a strong tradition of community service uphold our closely held tenet to “respect the dignity of every human being” as we contemplate our place in the world.

The cornerstone of our pedagogy is learner-centered teaching, and we strive to help each student follow his or her passion and fully reach his or her academic potential across our three campuses. Episcopal’s faculty are the school’s greatest asset; all support and affirm the worth and individual learning aspirations of each child. They are passionate classroom teachers and so much more as they mentor, coach, and direct those in their care. Our students’ academic success is measured in the grit, curiosity, and compassion that creates lifelong learners and much-needed leaders.

After Commencement, our alumni network welcomes graduates and assists with internships and networking events, career advice, and connections. Episcopal actively works to connect alumni with each other through special events, internships, and job shadow opportunities. We see the truth of “students for a short time, alumni for a lifetime” in the record number of alumni who return to campus again and again, and who are involved as volunteers, parents, and board members.

We look forward to welcoming your family to campus. I hope you’ll experience the excellence and the difference of an Episcopal education and choose to be a part of our community. In seeking excellence in all we do, it is the Episcopal family that provides the support, nurture, and care that is so essential for all those who call our great school home.

Sincerely,
