Julie Carter joined Episcopal in 2017 after seven years in college counseling at Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa. Julie began her career in college admissions at the University of North Florida, where she spent ten years and earned her master’s degree in educational leadership. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Florida in communications and public relations.

Riggs, Ryan

Ryan Riggs began teaching history at Episcopal in 1994 and became the Dean of Students in 2000 before becoming Director of College Counseling in 2008. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, his master’s degree from the University of Richmond, and his MBA from the University of Florida. He is a member of NACAC, SACAC, ACCIS and the Mercer Advisory Board.

Rizzi, Andrea

Rizzi received a BBA in management from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Following graduation, she worked in college admissions for seven years for both McDaniel College and the University of Miami. While working at Miami, Ms. Rizzi earned an MS.Ed. in higher education leadership. After earning this advanced degree, she served as the Dean of College Counseling at the Webb School of Knoxville for four years before joining the Episcopal community in 2008. In addition to several professional affiliations, Ms. Rizzi currently serves on the Samford University Advisory Board.

Van Cleve-Miller, Sis

Episcopal alumna Sis Van Cleve-Miller ‘82 began her college counseling career in 1987 at Miss Porter’s School, Farmington, Connecticut. She served as Director of College Counseling at Wilbraham & Monson Academy in Wilbraham, Massachusetts for five years before coming to Episcopal in 1995. Ms. Van Cleve-Miller received her undergraduate degree from Trinity College and her master’s degree from Wesleyan University. She also serves as Episcopal’s Director of Community Service.
