British Heritage Experience
This innovative approach to student travel takes the experience beyond mere sightseeing abroad and enriches it through interactive, authentic and contextualized learning experiences. Students study British influences on modern western culture by exploring important sights, cities, and monuments. The program begins in Edinburgh, Scotland, then travels to Stratford Upon Avon where students will have the opportunity to see a Shakespeare play at the Royal Shakespeare theatre. Next, the program overnights in Bath, and then passes through Stonehenge on its way to London for the remaining 5 days. Day trips from London include a visit to Dover and to Canterbury. Some of this program's highlights include Edinburgh Castle, Stonehenge, St, Paul's Cathedral, Churchill’s War Rooms, Canterbury Cathedral and the Tower of London.
