Episcopal’s Munnerlyn Campus’ annual fundraiser - Bash, is a time-honored tradition at the school. This event is the Munnerlyn Campus’ largest fundraising event and first started in 1975. Bash is a parent-volunteer led event and is an opportunity for parents to support the school while enjoying a great time with each other. You are invited! Serve on the committee or just plan to attend - Bash is an opportunity for you to enjoy the Episcopal experience. Ticket sales, an auction featuring “All Things Episcopal” and some large auction items raise funds to support Episcopal’s mission.

Bash 2024 Features Chef Kenny Gilbert

Bravo’s “Top Chef” Kenny Gilbert will be the culinary artist for Bash 2024: Roast and Toast – Back to the Boathouse.

Chef Gilbert began his career at the Ritz-Carlton in Amelia Island, and was named Chef de Cuisine by age 23. He served as Executive Chef at The Lodge at Sea Island, cooking for the 2004 G8 Summit. Chef Gilbert was also cast on season seven of Bravo’s “Top Chef,” where he placed well and impressed the judges with his skill and finesse. Praised by Oprah Winfrey for his meals at her home on Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day, Chef Gilbert has traveled the world with his cooking.

He has served as executive chef in multiple Ritz-Carlton restaurants and luxury boutique hotels, staging with top restaurants in Japan, Spain, France, and the Caribbean. He cooked for the Sports Illustrated Super Bowl party, appeared on the “Today Show,” Jacksonville’s FOX 30, and in The Los Angeles Times. Having recently published his first cookbook, Southern Cooking Global Flavor, Chef Gilbert has been touring throughout the United States.
