Beaches Campus Leadership
Kimberly and Joe Fess are proud parents of Grayson ‘26 and Addison ‘29. The Fess family has been a part of the Episcopal community since 2020 with students attending on the Munnerlyn and Beaches Campuses. Kimberly is a native Floridian (born in Pensacola) and moved to Jacksonville in summer 2020 for Joe’s position with Fortegra. Kimberly works as the Director of Business Development with Sally, Williamson & Associates. As Business Development Director, Kimberly creates and manages sales strategies to cultivate new business opportunities. When not working, the family loves to be outdoors at the beach or on the water. Kimberly is honored to Chair the Episcopal Fund because of the significant impact Episcopal has had on the family.
Cathy and Louis (Bobby) Menendez is a proud grandparent of Thomas Niemiec ‘31. Bobby was born and raised in Key West, Florida. Now retired, Bobby served in education for 40 years in both Monroe and Volusia Counties in many roles but most notably as a teacher, principal, and Area Superintendent. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Florida State University and played football during his undergrad years. While playing football, he went to two Gator Bowls and the Sun Bowl. He also holds a master’s degree in educational Leadership from Florida International University. He enjoys spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Faculty and Staff Chair
Christy Maurer joined Episcopal in 2021. She is a kindergarten teacher at Beaches Campus and has been teaching children for more than 20 years. Christy is a proud parent of Baylor ‘23 and Caroline ‘25. She has a master’s degree in elementary education from the University of North Florida. She believes in the Reggio Emilia approach to learning through discovery. In her spare time Christy enjoys spending time with family, reading, cooking, and walking her dog, Ziggy.
