The Dale D. Regan Memorial Fund was established in memory of Dale Regan to honor the lifetime of service she gave to Episcopal as a teacher, administrator and Head of School. Dale served the Episcopal community for 34 years. Episcopal thanks the friends, organizations and Episcopal family members from around the world who have given generous and wonderful gifts in her memory.

Regan Plaza Dedication

The Dale D. Regan Plaza at the Great Oak

Dale Regan

In consultation with Dale’s family, Episcopal determined the best way to create a lasting tribute to Dale using the Fund. The Episcopal community dedicated the Dale D. Regan Plaza at the Great Oak on March 6, 2013 in her honor.

The Regan Plaza will protect and preserve the root system of the Great Oak, which is hundreds of years old, in addition to providing a safe place under the spreading branches of the tree for quiet reflection or study. The Great Oak was important to Dale Regan and was a special gathering place for her and her sons, John and Duke Regan. This particular project was one of Dale’s dreams for Episcopal, making it a fitting way to honor her.
