  • Ten Episcopal Students Commit to Play Sport At Collegiate Level

    Episcopal School of Jacksonville hosted a pep rally and National Signing Day event for its entire student body this afternoon in the Semmes Gymnasium for ten seniors who plan to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level after graduation, including at Division I and Ivy League colleges and universities.

  • Boys Varsity Soccer Heads to Regional Semi-Final

    Episcopal Boys Varsity Soccer defeated Bolles last Friday for a 2-1 district championship win! Episcopal hosted West Nassau Tuesday,defeating them 8-0. The team will host Bolles this Friday night at at 7 p.m. for the Regional semi-final. Go Eagles!

  • Wrestling Wins Savannah Tournament

    This past weekend Episcopal’s Wrestling Eagles traveled to Savannah, Ga., to take part in the Cross-Bones Classic Duals. The teams were divided into 2 pools of four. At the conclusion of the pool competition the Eagles were the only undefeated team in both pools and thus declared tournament champions!

  • College Counseling Offers 9th and 10th Graders Special Program

    Episcopal’s College Counseling Office is holding meetings for 9th and 10th graders, their parents, advisor and college counselor in January and February. These special meetings are to facilitate conversations between the student and parent and college counselor about what they would like to get out of the college admissions process, and how to begin the process. Bringing the student’s advisor into the meeting also helps the advisor understand the student and parent expectations and how the college application process works.

  • Matthew Harwood '12 Finalist for NC State Park Scholarship

    Matthew Harwood '12 is a finalist for the Park Scholarship at North Carolina State University. The Park Scholarships program helps bring exceptional students to NC State, based on their accomplishments and potential in scholarship, leadership, service, and character. The scholarship is a four-year full ride scholarship, and includes retreats and seminars, study abroad stipends, and grants for enrichment activities.

  • Boots Bash Auction Will Showcase "All Things Episcopal!"

    Excitement is building within the Episcopal community as we await the event of the season, Boots Bash at the Boathouse! In addition to the inaugural Episcopal Reverse Raffle, featuring a Masters experience prize package for two, the annual “All Things Episcopal” items will be available as part of the silent auction. The silent auction will include favorites such as: VIP graduation seating, locker choice, and VIP Junior and Senior Parking.

  • Episcopal To Host Global Community Day

    Episcopal will host a Global Community Day on February 8. Global Community Day is a day where students and teachers will explore the question: Who is my neighbor? This day is intended to help students explore what it means to be neighborly, especially as citizens of a global community. Upper School students and faculty will learn about and enter in to dialogue with representatives from various and diverse faith communities. Workshop presenters include (but are not limited to) representatives from Sikh, Bahai, Reform Judiasm, Greek Orthodox, Islamic, Buddhist and Quaker communities. Middle School students and faculty will explore with teachers in the World Language department various social, political, religious and family issues.
